The prices listed are for reference but each job is unique and gets individual attention, so please contact us for an accurate estimate based on the details of your project.

All our services are subject to the payment and working terms in our Studio Policy.

All orders above $1000 will be charged a 3% credit card processing fee.

Pigment Printing

Our Pigment Printing prices include standard proofing and adjustment, and are subject to our Proofing policy. All prints can be subject to additional fees for borderless printing and extra handling.

Pigment Printing prices are organized in rows of ascending price tiers indicative of the total print size, including any final borders. Prints 24” x 36” and larger will be calculated /sqft. We can custom cut and trim to any size. We can also deckle prints at an additional cost.

Standard, Premium, and Ultra Premium columns indicate the material you print on. Our Ultra Premium rates are a starting reference and depending on the material, can fluctuate.  If you are interested in a paper or material we do not have listed on this page, see our full Archival Inkjet Papers page, or contact us to inquire.

Re-prints of the same image, with the same size and paper, receive an automatic 20% discount. Large volumes can be discounted further.

Proofing Policy

We aim for there to be no surprises when printing with us, and do everything in our ability to confirm approval before final print. Our print services include a round of complimentary proofing and adjustment for dedicated orders of 20" x 24". Prolonged proofing with several rounds will incur charges with proofs at 50% of its price. The Brooklyn Editions studio reserves the right to determine when to begin charging for proofing and will always inform the client beforehand.

Certificates of Authenticity — $50

We offer Hahnemühle Certificates of Authenticity, including official hologram, on Hahnemühle standard A4-size paper. To learn more about these certificates, visit our Certificates of Authenticity page.

Canvas Stretching

We offer Canvas Stretching services for our prints at an additional cost. To see the types of canvas wrap we can print for stretching, please visit our Canvas & Linens page. If you would like a custom quote that includes both printing and stretching for a size not listed, please contact us.

Scanning

Our scans provide you with the highest resolution color-accurate master files fit for maximum enlargement or high-end reproduction larger than the original.

Our Scanning services include a complimentary consultation to determine the best way to scan your artwork, and a light file clean-up and adjustment to match the original.

Scanning rates are based on the physical dimensions of each artwork. Neon colors, metallics, gloss, and special pigments can prove challenging to capture, which can be discussed during your consultation. If you have any questions or are unsure about whether your artwork can be scanned by us, please contact us directly with the specifications of your artwork.

All artwork must be removed from frames. All artwork must be dry. If completed with charcoal, graphite, or pastels, all artwork must be fixed.

Scanning turnaround is generally 1-3 business days, but expedited service can be arranged. Let us know of a critical deadline in advance.

File Delivery

We will deliver hi-res 1200 PPI RGB scan files in .TIFF format, once they have been lightly cleaned and color matched to their originals. If a scan required the use of our scanner’s 3D light, it will be delivered in 600 PPI.

Drum Scanning

For photographers looking for film scans that surpass in quality, drum scans are available through our partner Drum Scanning NYC. Limit of Liability

All artwork collected for scanning is subject to our Limit of Liability. We do not insure any artwork we take in for scanning. It is the client’s responsibility to assess their artwork’s value and take out appropriate measures to protect it. Photoshop / Digital Services

Digital Services cover Retouching, Photo Restoration, Color Correction, RAW Conversions, Image Optimization, and all other Photoshop work.  Visit our Retouching and Photo Restoration pages to learn more.

Our Digital Services always start with a complimentary consultation to determine the best course of action for a project. Signing off on a plan prior to starting any work allows us to work within a client’s budget for a project, and manage expectations based on the number of hours agreed upon.

Our rates start at a 30 min minimum, and are charged in additional 30 min increments. Standard Retouching that is remote is charged at $150 / hour. Supervised Retouching with the client in-person is charged at $225 / hour.

Rush fees for our Digital Services are subject to higher rates. For a comprehensive quote, please contact us.

Mounting

We provide Mounting services for our prints to help clients professionally finish their work and have it ready for immediate display. The table below illustrates our Mounting costs on select materials. If you do not see the material you are interested in below, please contact us to inquire.

All Mounting costs are subject to change depending on rush fees, print sensitivity which requires additional handling, and transportation fees. A French cleat brace can be can added to the back of mounted prints for quick installation at an additional price. If you know the details of your project, contact us and we can provide you with a custom estimate at any time.

Our Mounting services will add additional time to the turnaround of your project. Acrylic face mount prints require 2 weeks to turnaround. Visit our Mounting page, and our Acrylic Prints page to learn more about these processes.

Shipping / Fulfillment

Domestic packages start at $35 / package. Local Couriers (New York City) start at $65 / courier. International packages start at $50 / package. We do not have fixed rates for International shipping. For the most accurate estimate, please contact us with full details of your shipment.

We ship prints flat and rolled, and can build custom boxes or crates for projects. Flat packing fees will be charged for packages 16" x 20" and larger. Please contact us with full details of your project’s needs for a custom quote.

For client sales and drop shipping, we can offer Bulk Fulfillment services and discounts at certain sizes and quantities. Bulk Fulfillment services that require Ecommerce Integration can incur administration fees. Please contact us with details of your project or sale for a custom quote.

Damage & Lost Policy

All packages shipped by our studio are subject to our Damage & Loss Policy, and in shipping with us, you agree to these terms.

In the event of any damage done to packages by the carrier, we are prepared to replace the item(s) and file an insurance claim with the carrier, as long as the receiver is able to provide clear photographic evidence of the damage that follows the carrier's specifications. Insurance claims and print replacements will only begin upon receiving this documentation.

In the event packages are lost due to incorrect information provided by the client, our studio will not be liable for the lost package. In the event a package is lost by the carrier, our studio will handle each case with the carrier.
